The Ray Allen Ballistic Vests are available in NIJ compliant Type II and Type III-A performance. The vest has been designed around our modular harness platform and to provide vital organ protection from gunfire with consideration of weight, minimized heat retention and exceptional range of movement. The Type II vest weighs 3.9 lbs and the heavier weight Type III-A vest offers superior protection and comes in at 4.8 lbs. Made with 1000D Cordura Nylon as the outer shell and Pack-cloth lining underneath allows for very easy cleaning and removal of hair. Mil-Spec Type 8 Webbing with Velcro and 1 ¾" heavy-duty plastic side-release buckles allow for secure fitting on a small malinois to a large shepherd. A 2500lb load-rated V-ring is conveniently located on the top rear of the vest. On top a 4" wide section of Velcro runs nearly the length of the vest with a single strip of MOLLE just under it on both sides, perfect for attachment of a tactical camera mount, patch or ID pouch. A 2" x 8" section of Velcro is also located on each side for attachment of ID panels. You also have easy removal of the Ballistic panels through Velcro closures for replacement or when cleaning the vest.

Available in black. A Heavy Duty version of the Ballistic Vest is also available, with an additional V-ring, metal instead of plastic buckles and a top handle.

Regular: Sized for dogs 70lbs or less, 22 - 30.5 inches in girth for the front strap, and 24.5 - 28 inches in girth for the rear strap (measured at the furthest point on your dog's rib cage).
Large: Sized for 70 - 90lb dogs 31 - 36 inches in girth for the front strap, and 29 - 33 inches in girth for the rear strap (measured at the furthest point on your dog's rib cage).
