The TrueScent Explosives K-9 Scent Training Aids by Signature Science for use in detection training are available in the following types: Potassium Chlorate, HMTD, TATP, Ammonium Nitrate, Urea Nitrate, PETN, RDX and TNT. Each Training Aid includes one unit of TrueScent® Training Aid plus a Blank "Distractor" K-9 Training Aid. Scent material is individually packaged into a sealed "breather" bag, which is sealed in an individual outer anti-contamination package.
TrueScent is the register trademark of Signature Science. Potassium Chlorate, TATP, Ammonium Nitrate, Urea Nitrate, PETN, RDX, TNT, and Blank "Distractor" scent samples can be used for up to one year after receipt if properly stored when not in use. To ensure shelf-life, Potassium Chlorate and Blank "Distractor" training aids should be stored at room temperature or below when not in use. The HMTD scent samples can be used for up to six months after receipt if properly stored when not in use, and the HMTD must be stored in a freezer when not in use to preserve the shelf life. A Certificate of Analysis, Handler Instructions, and MSDS are provided.
