The Signature Science HME (Homemade Explosives) Starter Kit contains one unit each of TrueScent HMTD, TATP, Urea Nitrate, and Blank "Distractor" K-9 Training Aid. Also included are four handling tongs, four stash boxes, and four individual storage cases. Each scent material is individually packaged into a sealed "breather" bag, which is sealed in an individual outer anti-contamination package. Each scent type is packed in a storage case with tongs and stash box. The HMTD scent sample can be used for up to six months after receipt if properly stored when not in use, and the HMTD must be stored in a freezer when not in use to preserve the shelf life. TATP, Urea Nitrate, and "Blank Distractor" scent samples can be used for up to one year after receipt if properly stored when not in use. To ensure shelf-life, all non-HMTD scent samples should be stored at room temperature or below when not in use. A Certificate of Analysis, Handler Instructions, and MSDS are provided for each product.

A refill kit is available for replenishing expired scents with one unit each of TrueScent HMTD, TATP, Urea Nitrate, and Blank "Distractor" K-9 Training Aid.
